Four ways to start an episode

Most podcast creation starts with a microphone. Here it starts with whatever you already have. The studio has four inputs, and every style works with each of them.

• A topic. One sentence, such as “why the Baltic Sea is so low in salt”. The research stage finds the material.
• Your own text. Paste up to 20,000 characters: notes, a draft, one of your blog posts. The episode follows your text instead of a generic summary.
• A link. One public article. PodThis fetches the readable text and names it as the primary source on the episode page.
• A file. PDF, Word, plain text or Markdown, up to 20 MB and 200 pages. Long documents are condensed into notes that keep the figures and names.

AI voices cast per style, music included

A podcast episode is more than one voice reading a script. Each style comes with its own cast: a documentary narrator with expert voices, a teacher and a learner, an interviewer and a guest, one calm storyteller for bedtime. Before you generate, the studio shows who is in the cast, lets you play a short preview of each voice and swap any of them.

You do not have to add background music by hand either. Each style has its own music conventions: a theme, a few scored moments in narrated stories, a soft bed under bedtime stories, short bumpers in a briefing. Long stretches stay dry, the way a produced programme sounds. The finished episode is loudness-normalised and delivered as a high quality audio master.

Share it, publish it, or keep it

Every episode gets its own page with a player, chapters, the full transcript and a “Sources & further reading” list. Choose the visibility when you create it: Public lists it in Discover and on your profile, Unlisted works only for people with the link, Private is for you alone. Public episodes also go into your profile’s RSS feed, which is what you submit to Apple Podcasts or Spotify if you want a show there.
